Loved the church bells. All seems very peaceful or am l imaging things. No one cutting people off, horns going off, people (drivers and pedestrians) flipping off each other. I see more action here in the San Francisco suburbs.

i think it's a sunday morning..lot more congested during weekdays. liverpool is a good interesting city as is your San Fransisco. i live in liverpool and just outside the suburbs in Lydyate is a pub called 'the scotch piper'. you can't match this in frisco....it was built in 1390!

Parts of the city centre are nice but the rest of Liverpool is horrible. Ive been there a few times with Stoke City and all I saw was boarded up terraced houses and council estates.

England is not characterised for a proper preservation of their heritage. They destroyed big parts of old towns building those horrible inner road rings in many UK cities. Such a pity.

the boarded up terraced houses are because of massive demolition schemes from when Liverpool was the 2nd port of the Victorian era in the United Kingdom . we have to move on and re build . you may have caught us in transition but we had thousands of victorian dwellings to cope with and get people living somewhere while all this going on. of course you don't have this problem in the village of stoke sur le trent?
