When they're discussing referee bias and a conspiracy against Arsenal, AGT is saying " tell me the last time a team has gotten nine yellow cards for wasting time" as it's supposed to be an argument against that referee bias when it's actually a part of the bias. Arsenal gets yellow cards instantly for things like delaying the restart of the game and time-wasting while other teams doesn't and then it turns into a talking point. Last season Tomiyasu got sent off for holding the ball for 8 seconds before taking a throw-in, also something that has never been seen before and will never be seen again for any other team. Arsenal also has the fewest fouls per red card, I think it was 65 fouls per red card last time I checked last year and the second one on that list had 98 fouls per red card so it's almost 50% more. It's pretty ridiculous to be honest.

I agree that a lot of the frustration was taken out on Trent because of this contract situation HOWEVER Trent was easily our worst player yesterday at such a wrong time. He definitely deserved a lot of the shame for his performance especially against United, he caused a lot of problems that led to united goals, maybe his head is gone and it's ok if he wants to leave. Robbo also was terrible, he conceded a goal almost a carbon copy of the goal he gave against Leicester. All in all our performance was terrible, Macca, Grav and Van dijk were the only ones with a positive and Szobo was missed, any Liverpool fan with common sense knows better than to think that united would not come with a fight in a heated rivalry, form goes out the window. It was a good fiery game we haven't had in a while with united though, great watch and with aggression and props to united, they did defend a lot but they wanted it more and played well, Slot got it wrong as well and like we have maintained its still early because of games like this, if we dont win anything I'd put all the blame on FSG but hope we bounce back YNWA

To me I see the Joelinton one like a Cb messing up a back up. The scoring striker can be offside if their own player played it, but if the defending Cb makes a mistakes then the striker is not offside. A spurs player kicks it at Joelinton’s hand…. That’s on Spurs if it ends up being fortunate to to Newcastle. He didn’t move his hand into the path of the ball. It was a ball to hand that was actioned by the spurs player. There’s something called “strength of schedule” in some US sports that weighs heavy on a teams table position/ranking. Just because you’re undefeated doesn’t automatically mean you’re top of the table, especially if you’ve only played weak opposition, then your rank will reflect it. LIV would not be positioned so well if this existed in PL-they’d probably be more like 4-7th. Given the ridiculously easy start to the season they had, then the fact they’ve only played 2 away games against top-11 opposition so far (no W either), yet media and some fans want to hail this as some masterclass season by a veteran squad and new manager. Maybe pump the brakes a bit. Btw Arsenal have basically had the inverse schedule in that they’ve already played most of top-15 opposition away, with exception of anfield, forest & ot. Guess that’s why we use 38 games to decide title winner, and not just 19…

It is such a reductive, disingenuous and over simplified argument by Abbie that when Klopp announced he was leaving Liverpool last season they fell apart. Liverpool were never expected to win the league last season. Arsenal and City, just like this season, were always expected to finish above them. Liverpool were competing until April when Klopp announced he would leave in the January. Liverpool were decimated with injuries last season but still kept a challenge going up to April. So it wasn’t a direct impact that Abbie is claiming.

Robbie should stop being biased. Every headbutt/headclash/head collision, whatever you call it is always given as a foul and freekick on the field. It's rare in the penalty box because most times the defending players would win the ball first and if the opposing player head clash with that player, the defending team gets a freekick which we have seen countless times. If that incident with Pedro happens outside of the box, it would still be given as a freekick. However, it happens in the penalty area, and so it's a foul, and therefore, it's a penalty.

To be really fair, if your team had lost 4 games in a row and EVERYONE had expected them to lose before even stepping foot on Anfield, so much so lots of fans were hoping for the game to be forfeited or postponed, but the team turned up the way Utd did, you'd be ecstatic too. opposition fans sharing their view on the trent thing is all well and good, some fans take it too personal. I see it a bit different though. you get more love by being local, and therefore it's logical the fans react harder when he's letting rumors linger because he wants to ensure he gets a bigger contract. TAA delivered his worst performance for liverpool i can remember of the top of my head, and doing that against the biggest rivals. He looked uninspired and lazy and the critism of his performance is completely fair. Salah and Virgil have both expressed their will to stay and calmed fans, while trent has put this pressure on himself by taking this approach.
