I'm definitely in a full conspiracy with the referees. Some of the decisions were downright terrible. One of the worst ones was near the end of the game, when VVD was pressuring Robinson who then booted it, VVD touched it by the final ball came off Iwobi. Mate, you forgot the number 1 rule of Premiere League refs: Give the title to oil sheik money and/or Russian billionaires(Chelsea, Manchester City) regardless of what calls you make and whether those calls even exist in the game of football is different. There are clear favourites every season that the referees simply never go against and others which they simply rein in so that their chosen team has an easier time to the title or top of the table. This has been this way since it was still "Barclay's Premiere League", so you're not discovering new facts, merely coming to the realization that non-biased football fans saw decades ago. If you go back and look at the tape it becomes obliviously clear that the refereeing decisions have nothing to do with the football matches and everything to do with whom needs to be placed where on the table. Too much money on the line (in gambling, merchandise deals, etc) to allow for pure skill and coaching talent to be the determiners of a winning side. No good business allows for such high variance when it could affect your bottom line. The EPL is a business.
@GlynnParry-bs6xg2 сағат бұрын
I think officiating has actually got worse this season. VAR does not help with it's 'will I, won't I' approach. I think the key reason is the inconsistency within games. Its explainable from ref to ref. However when you have a big body of decisions this far into the league you must be aware of whats gone before, never mind you should be aware what youve given/not already. If this is the best league in the world, why cant we have the best refs? Or is the PGMOL saying the best are all English?
