With this high pressure first line of defence strategy Arne is asking two different jobs from Darwin: Attacking and making goals on one hand and defensive positioning and duelling on the other. A difficult combination. This multitasking fatigues Darwin and he loses part of his explosiveness which he needs for his attacking actions. So how can we expect from Darwin razor sharp clinical finishing where he has to run a marathon at the same time? Obviously, Arne knows this and therefore, in every interview he emphasises Darwin's excellent defending efforts for the team. In Arnes game-plan Darwin is doing a good job. For him the team work prevails. Who scores the goals is less important to him. I expect Darwin in the line-up regularly, whether he scores or not. He deserves our support.

It never occurred to me that the seven London teams in the EPL don't have to travel outside of London for 12 of their 38 league games. Imagine if Liverpool, City, United etc didn't have to travel outside their cities for 12 of their 38 games? That's quite an advantage that the London teams have.
