Dear Boss, I know you’ll probably never read this but if in the case you do from the bottom of my heart I just want to say the biggest of thank you’s. You’ve given us all so much happiness and hope and belief. You have given all of us memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. You turned a club which had nothing to a club with everything. You ALWAYS put the fans, the players and the club before yourself. You celebrated with us through every high and was our guiding light in ever low. You ended our 30 year wait, Won our 6th in Madrid and made us Champions of the World 🌎🏆 But most of all, you were just the most down to earth and incredible human being. You were Humble, Gracious, Honest, Respectful, Intelligent, Passionate, Dedicated, Funny, Caring and endlessly Supporting. You showed every Liverpool fan (New or Old) what it truly means to believe and that “Impossible Is Nothing” and “This Means More” are so much more than just sayings and that you are so much more than just ‘The Normal One.’ Boss, no words or quotes or letters or messages or videos or gifts will ever be enough to express just how much we love you and how grateful every single one of us are for you and what you’ve given us. Whilst today may be the closing chapter of your most beautiful story at Liverpool, it’s not the end of your journey with all of us and it never will be. So no matter what you decide to do next in your career or what your future ends up holding in store for you. Just know that every Liverpool supporter will be there with you every step of the way and that we’ll support you wherever you go until the end. Thank you for turning doubters into believers. Thank you for every single moment you’ve given us. But most importantly, thank you for being our manager. You’ll Never Walk Alone Boss. Thank you for EVERYTHING ❤❤❤❤❤ All The Love in the World, Ollie

We were so lucky to have him. During his speech, he knew that it would be difficult for the new manager to fill his shoes. What he said makes perfect sense now which is to keep supporting the new manager despite of the results. He made it clear to the players that they need to play even more better football in front of everyone and all the supporters to get behind the new manger. We love you Jurgen ❤

The way I fell in love with this team and this coach was when I and schoolmates of mine were sent to Germany as exchange students. I will never forget how during one boring evening I was stuck in one of the rooms and I heard loud passionate shouts from one of the mates and that was the first time I saw Klopp as a manager for Liverpool FC in a great European comeback. The exact date was 14 April 2016 and the final score of that game was Liverpool 4-3 Dortmund that is what got me back to enjoying watching football as I had not watched any since first or second grade. Since then I have not missed a single game of the club and learned to love it so much. I was really fortunate to have the opportunity to grow up during Klopp's tenure and as everyone can agree it has been a wild ride. Now I am 26 and just wanted to say THANK YOU KLOPP for all the great memories!! YNWA

I've been a Liverpool fan since 86, and the best 9 years of my life as a Liverpool fan have been during his tenure. From the moment it was announced he was joining Liverpool, it felt right. It just did. And I think Liverpool fans everywhere felt that instant buzz and a sense that the club was finally being led by the right man. He was perfect for Liverpool just as the club and the city have been perfect for him. Welcoming Slot was one of classiest gestures one would ever see from any individual, in or outside of football. It's impossible to replace Klopp and Slot will have to carve out his own legacy. But no matter how many trophies his successors win, Klopp will be remembered with a fondness that trophies can't evoke for he embodied everything the club is about. It's heartbreaking to see him leave but reassuring to know that he has restored the foundations, the values and the belief of Liverpool Football Club. And that was most difficult task of all. Every manager that comes after him will stand on the shoulders of a giant.

I think it will be a very LONG time before we're graced with another person like Jurgen as manager. He will be very hard to replace. He was the spark that lit our fires! He was the influential and charismatic leader we all needed at Liverpool. I wasn't sure why, but earlier today whilst watching the game and especially afterwards, I shed a tear for the simple fact that Jurgen was leaving the club. Never in a million years have I done that over a football manager. What that says to me is that Jurgen was more than just football, he was if you like, a sort of family member that you had to say goodbye too and losing that family member made me feel a little empty inside. I've never even met Jurgen and yet here I was feeling emotional over what I was seeing. It just goes to show how much people can affect you when you least expect it! Jurgen was a positive enthusiast and that is why so many people gravitate towards him and feel the way we do now that he's no longer manager of Liverpool. What ever the 'real' reasons are as to why he left before his contract ended, I guess we'll never know? But what I take from this is that Jurgen's 'never give up' attitude will stay in the hearts of Liverpool fans worldwide. It was an honour to have witnessed and been alive to share this journey with Jurgen, even if I did it from a distance, Jurgen Klopp is a Liverpool legend and if anyone deserves a statue, it's him. ♥
