this liverpool side reminded me of Klopp title winning season, no risk, no heavy metal, just mature defending holding the lead, Klopp's 18/19 or 21/22 were a joy to watch but too many risk taken ended up in weird draw or absurd loss, 19/20 season however we didn't play fancy whatsoever, only getting like 2-1 or 3-1 win but consistently, and that's how you win the title

I expect a good performance from Szoboszlai in Leipzig as he returns home.

11:58 I've noticed that in the latest 3 games that involved Darwin, there were moments where Darwin ran free in the center area but the winger just did not pass. If they did, those were easy big chances but unfortunately none of them did. Yes, at least once in every game Darwin played for the last 3 times. And no, he was not offside at the moment the winger could make the pass. I do believe this is something the coaches need to address.

It wasn't an easy ball to take down and control. I think he did it masterfully. He and Mo were the best players against Chelsea. Curtis Jones showed that he's an asset for Liverpool. He's definitely included in the best version of Liverpool since the days of Salah-Mane- Firminho. I like the way Slot has started to rotate the team. He didn't even start with Macallister and Diaz, but played Szobozlai-Gravenbach- Jones and Gakpo-Jota-Salah up front. The quality of this team is extraordinary even when measured against the teams under Klopp. I can't see a single weak spot, except for the goalie. Kelleher's skills are obvious, but it's no small thing to step up after Alison. This looks like it's going to be a memorable season.

Watching the build up to the Chelsea goal, Virgil makes a movement towards Jackson trying to anticipate a pass directly to his feet (or to split him and Konate). Caicedo delays his pass and directs it to where Virgil moved from, which was a smart pass. Konate had Jackson covered initially, so when Virgil looks back at that buildup play, I’m sure he’ll realise that he didn’t have to close down Jackson. When he did close down Jackson, Konate backed off Jackson a bit and that created further defensive confusion between the two of them. Not difficult to resolve and they were pretty damn good in covering Chelsea’s threats for most of the game.

Klopp plays with one system and method of play against Burnley and Fulham, the same against Madrid and City, which is high pressure throughout or most of the moments of the match. Arnie studies the opponent, does not be arrogant in the way, plays according to his abilities, and what suits each match varies Sometimes you find him bearing the burden of the match and rebounding, sometimes you find him pressing and sometimes in possession
