The fact that AZ did not want this does not mean that this wasn't a proper move. Could he have communicated this better? Absolutely, but it is his prerogative to do this. As for his footbal career he has been very loyal to PEC Zwolle and was a very loved person. both by PEC Zwolle as a player and also by Feyenoord as a trainer, maybe there was a reason he didn't want to go through with AZ, but that is just speculating

The right guy for the job imo. His playstyle is attacking and with a lot of defensive pressure, so he makes sure his players are getting a lot of stamina training
