bohemiangypsy99 You were moved to tears because that is God drawing you😊 If you tell Him you're a sinner (we ALL are) and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. He will. Tell Him you believe Jesus is His Son and He died for you. God will reveal Himself to you. If you believe😊 Look into your heart and ask. If you believe, he'll answer.
@grateful19298 жыл бұрын
bohemiangypsy99 No, no don't give up believing!! Look at these two. They lost so much and look at how they still believe and praise God. My husband of twenty years and father of my three children left me for another woman. I was devastated!! I had to sell my home. I didn't leave they Lord. I clung to Him! God never promised us a pain free life. He promised He would carry us through. I don't know why you had so many miscarriages and I'm so so sorry for you. Please give your life to Him and ask Him what He wants for your life. Tell Him you want a child. Ask Him for His will to be done. My daughter is 36 and has been married for almost 10 years. No baby. She has PCOS. I still pray for her a baby. Still. We have to believe He knows best. We have to.

I'm so in love! Oh I am so in love with that place! Haven't seen one like that before. We ran across a Mennonite community in Ohio that I honestly cried when we left. The atmosphere felt so wonderful and the goods were so very perfect in the general store and we found it by accident. My hubby worked for JB Hunt at the time and had to make a delivery there. We didn't even know it was a Mennonite community! It was all a complete surprise when the man we were to meet opened his warehouse doors up for us so we could deliver canning jars early and take a tour of his general store. It was an awesome morning and watching the people in their buggies deliver their food and wares was quite an experience. By 9am, the door opened up and the parking filled with cars from 9 different states and stayed that way all day! Your review of Samson is priceless. I was in tears myself just knowing what you must have witnessed. There are so many things I loved about this video!

We love the market & Kitchen Kettle Village too! I had many Amish made things before my downsize but have since foynd homes for many of them. Haven't been back since the downsize so Elizabeth I can only imagine the restraint & self control you exercised! Tip: if you stay at either Bird-and-Hand OR Traveler's Rest in the heart of town, you will get a FREE shuttle tour of the nearby countryside and stops at Amish Farms and roadside stands!

Oh, we love sight and sound. Isn’t it great how they live out the Bible stories. We loved Noah’s Ark. I thought oh how are they going to do this but it was wonderful, it was like we were in the boat of the big ark. They had 🦒 🦓 animal ‘s all around us like they were in their stalls. It just made you want to stand up and praise God at the end . We like Home’s county to where Amish live. We live close to home’s county. We like it better there, but love the sigh and sound theater.

Happy Anniversary! I'm so glad you had a nice adventure :) We live in W. PA, north of Pittsburgh. Friends have told us about Sight and Sound but we haven't been there yet. I know it is spectacular and now I want to go even more! I guess it won't be until next year with the long wait for tickets. You know, God has been speaking to us about the Sabbath. Of all the ten commandments, it's the only one that Christians we know rationalize about. We don't want to be legalistic about it and Jesus pointed that out for us, but we (my family) really don't have to do business on the Sabbath. It really touched my heart when you pointed out that stores were closed. Change for us is coming! Thank you for sharing. I'm always happy to see when you two have another video.

The beautiful farm country with the barns and silos reminds me of rural Michigan when I was a kid, where the Amish have come in. "Bird in Hand" is a terrific market but you've got to go to "The Green Dragon" on a subsequent trip. It is only open on Fridays and is a much different experience from B&H. There is another fun thing to take part in and that is to go to an auction. Many of the Mennonite "Nursing" Homes (they're much more than that) hold annual fundraising auctions where you can find many many handmade items and at much more reasonable prices than the places that cater to the tourists. Our favorite is Fairmount homes. In Sept. every year they do an annual Chicken BBQ which is a day long auction as well as a Chicken BBQ. Our family liked it so much that we now hold our Family Reunion during the BBQ. Appreciated the admonition to be respectful of the Amish and other "Plain" folk and to not photograph/video them, especially without their consent.

Loved your video. My wife is 5th generation "Pennsy Dutch". Her family has lived in Lancaster County since the days of William Penn. Nice to see others mention the Mennonite. Amish are actually a sect of the Mennonite. There are many variants of Mennonite. Several others are also "Plain". And some others are even "Horse & Buggy" Mennonite but are not Amish. There are also "Plain" Brethren, Old Order Brethren and "Horse & Buggy" Brethren, another Denomination, Church of the Brethren. They are of German descent. Mennonite are of Swiss origination. There are also many Lutherans there that were early immigrants from Germany as well. The next you go there you must have Scrapple - a meat usually served at Breakfast and often with Syrup or Molasses. You should also try "Sweet Bologna" and if your really adventurous, Pig's Stomach which is similar to a Pastie except it is cooked in the lining of a Pig's Stomach. Very delicious!!
