A goat at the Small livestock market in Lusaka's Chibolya compound is now fetching 6-hundred kwacha, up from the previous 3-hundred kwacha, while live chickens are now being sold at 1-hundred and 50 kwacha.
Zambia Livestock Cooperative Union Chairperson, DAVISON NKHUWA has attributed the rise in prices to increased demand from the Democratic Republic of Congo -DRC.
