thanks for the video Inna, all the best for you! Btw, regarding "analogies" for grammatical cases, for English perhaps one could mentions a sentence such as "she loves him, and he loves her". He/him and she/her could be described as different cases (nominative and accusative) of a single word. Cases for nouns work similarly (but there are many more forms of course, not just two like for English personal pronouns)

Before the invasion I went to Ukraine quite a few times to see my dentist. Started to learn Ukrainian myself and learned my first 100 words fairly quickly using Mnemonics. I can speak German and French and some Italian. My problem has always been that my native language is English. I have to pretend I'm a Greek non English speaker. Everybody speaks better English than my Ukrainian. Can you tell what country your students are from when they speak Ukrainian?

A very interesting video, but there are slight audio problems. About the language: I think Ukrainian is great - an acquaintance claims that it is not a separate language... - unbelievable. Ukraine is an independent state with its own language - and it should stay that way. Peace for Ukraine! 🙏
