Omooo....ope is my role model frr. Like he's even in ny field of study ..he knows what he wants and he gets it. It's already motivating me cuz rn im in 200 level and im kinda confused on what to do but this is already setting me in the right path He knew he cant be following those that are higher than you are but you can aspire to be like them. First 💚🤍 Ope is whatever he thinks he is!!😭❤️ I'm really grateful for this episode cause it just exposes a lot of sides the media never really shows. Ope has paid his dues and has the right to do whatever he's doing. Major things I learnt from this episode 1. You have to stand out! If you go where everyone is going, you'll get the results they're getting or even less. Find what works for you. Don't be afraid of starting out on a different path. If you know what you're doing, you'll eventually make a headway 2. The "why" you're doing what you're doing is very important! It's very critical to know the "why" of what you're doing. For ope it was never about brands or just the money. It's about passion, talking about what he loves. So even if the money isn't there, the passion remains. Something very key he mentioned is that you're only a door to a community, brands want that community. So focus on building a trusted community. The brands will come. 3. Start with what you have and be diligent with it.

I really love his personality ❤ Opeyemi once said put trust and confidence in your art And some Of the mistake creators make is Firstly, they copy other creators content of which by doing that the person can't be bigger than that person except you do things in a different way. So be different, be original and be strategic. Yayyyyy! He studied mass comm, love it ❤ what stood out to me what the fact that he knew his niche and strived to develop on that, he didn't let the comments of people put him down. He basically understands the numbers game and that's it, he chased the 99!! 😂😂 I like the fact that Ope says it as it is, so demure, so mindful (I don't care what you think) 😂😂 Strategy boss! He mentioned something that struck me, he is teaching the whole generation about etiquette and would even continue to talk about food if he wasn't paid, that's genuinely clever. Opeyemi on creativetea??? Count me innnnnn 😍😍. Seeing Opeyemi’s creative side was very interesting, very funny 😂 and veryyyyy educative. This episode was indeed very insightful Uniqueness‼️that is one thing Opeyemi has emphasized through out this video, he switched from being an ordinary food journalist to becoming a food critic and as a creative, you need to be unique to stand out cause the honest truth is a lot of people are doing the same thing you are doing. I also like how he strategizes, now everything makes so much sense, why his videos are so smooth and timely. “My value is trust” this got me thinking fr, As a creative what is my value?
