Livin' up to the hype? Or bust? - adidas Terrex Agravic Speed ultra

I'm looking for a trail running shoe that will be good for distances of 10-16 miles, but also most importantly I run on a lot of rocky terrain and have been noticing with my current shoes my feet hurt substantially, like I can feel every jagged rock piercing the bottom of my foot. Would these shoes do a good job of eliminating the pain on rocky runs?

Hey, I would try to find a shoe with a rock plate and not a tall stack shoe, a rock plate redistributes the impact to the entire foot and is a much better option than having more foam underneath your foot. Lars

They are very firm which is taxing on the feet and joints but very good light and a little bounce as your running along

The name makes perfect sense though I mean you have to have Adidas it's the company, and terrex because that's their trailrunning team and that's what their athletes use for their runs. Agravic speed is the actual name of the shoe with ultra being for longer distances.

Hey, It does make sense, and that could be said for many of the long-winded names you'll find on the market right now. But long names create a lot more confusion than shorter names, and a lot less easy to say :D Anyways, the edit here just has a little bit of a laugh because Jakob really couldn't say it correct on camera, even after multiple tries. @@RunningXpert I’m running the Lisbon half marathon. Right now I use the Nike Pegasus 38 as my daily trainer but I feel like I need a shoe more comfortable for those long runs.

@@fernandomarques7179what’s your pace? You should use the shoes that best fit your foot shape and test them for several training sessions before the race. The Pegasus is pretty basic and doesn’t have the latest super critical foam or carbon plate… Try the Hoka Skyward X that is not an extreme shoe for example…
