Just know ya’ll, we can choose to be a victim or survivor of your past. You know over 90% of sexually abused children were abused by someone they knew? Which And it was way worse in the 70’s s & 80’s, we were told shhhh…it’s a family secret. We thought no one would believe us. The majority of those whom never said anything! There are so many coming forth that had been molested in the years of 70 & 80’s that are getting prosecuted now. Because now we teach our children that it’s not normal. It’s never too late for any of us to come forward. Mine was my uncle, I forgave him on his death bed! To heal my own soul! But I protect and will stand up for any child if I feel it in my gut or see anything inappropriate! And I was not taught it was or wasn’t ok! Teach our children young! Let them know it’s not ok. Since the 70 and 80’s the statistics have went down. Because the abused are standing up! This song proves that you are strong! You are worthy and she grew and found the best happiness any woman could ask for or be blessed with! Dirty, much respect for this song! I know I say I love every song but this one?
