Yes! When my folks came home from Vacation I would pay their taxicab fare from the Train Station where The Envelope was there waiting for them. Not that the house was sloppy but when they entered, they were so happy to see how clean and neat it was. The floor was mopped, the rug was vacuumed, the sink was clean and sterile without any dirty dishes and it smelled nice. I also left then an "Envelope" explaining that when you come back from Holiday, the money was funny, change was strange, and credit couldn't get it, I told them to spend it at their discretion and whatever was left over split the difference and I also left $30.00 to treat them to food since they didn't feel like cooking. They would order food, and they used it for groceries, and lotteries. They couldn't thank me enough.😊
