In the black socket of your lamp that you connected with the adapter: there is a european plug inside. Unscrew it open. That way you won't need the adapter. Happened to me so many times as the UK plug is different from mainland Europe. It takes a lot of gut to go through this by your self. You are lucky to have such a supportive partner. I've been there it's not easy. All the best!

My bed is also against a wall and I might just give in and buy those little suspenders that hold the fitted sheet. My mattress has a pillow top layer so a corner always pops off on the process 😅 We both said "oohhh" at the same time after you turned on the new lights.

hello, I have not read all the comments, so I apologize if this has been mentioned already. but when changing your poster to a new one, just slide the new one on top of the old one, if the old one is dark colored and its showing thru you can flip it over so the white side is up then again just place the new print on top, this allows you a storage for your old prints as well changing the prints when they get boring and youd like a change..from the US I hope this helps.

Love room decoration videos. Your style is great! But I get your hesitation of buying more furniture. Been in this situation many times. Now we are finally replacing the "temporary" with what we like to have for a long time. Maybe you should get a proper office chair, not just different pillows. I am in honeoffice too and had to sacrifice optics for functionality and proper back support.
