I think maybe reading the comments, people should be wary that we are still in a pandemic, so if you are having symptoms, even if you think it's nothing,I hope you are getting tested for covid.

True, but there are still other illnesses out there besides COVID.With people being out more now then it stands to reason that there will be more illness about.Colds and flus still exist as does other viral infections.

@@rachelgutierrez5798 That is true, but certainly here in the UK where you can get lateral flow tests for free and have them posted to you next day delivery, there is nothing stopping you having a test. Better be safe than sorry.

@@TheSilveryew these shouldn't be used when people have symptoms just FYI. Lateral flows need a higher level of viral load to show up as positive. Viral load is highest just before you show symptoms of covid. By the time you show symptoms your viral load may have dropped enough that it wouldnt cause a positive lateral flow result and would need a PCR to show as positive.

So I actually do a similar thing with painkillers but my logic is that I have the pain for a reason so I'll try things to get rid of it first. Like if I have a headache, maybe I need to relax (stress), drink water, take a screen break, put me glasses on etc

The thing you said about headaches and paracetamol, i saw a post just yesterday that commented about how for some people who are neurodivergent (ADHD was used in the example), some things just don't tend to 'occur' to them, and used that specific example of taking paracetamol when you get a headache. Although, I'm neurotypical and grew up not taking medicines and it took me a while to start taking medication aswell

That’s the same for people that work all year and they go away on holiday, they go into a state of relaxation this then see you are no longer in a stress state, so your body goes into repair mode and all the chemical poisoning we endure in daily life is extracted from out bodies through the immune system 😀👍... ❤️

Omg Taz that’s literally what I did/ do- take no medication or see the doctors. I’ve learnt my lesson and now see my dr whenever they ask to come in ever since they found issues. I regret it a little but thankful it’s reversible. But still hate medication no matter how bad it got- it wasn’t for me and felt weak if I did…..

Just a little advice taz: for this sick edition like cough throat ,just squeeze some ginger and mix it with honey or you could boil the ginger in little water and add honey and black pepper then your cough and throat will get some relief. This defo works because I just did it few days back. Love ya❤️ Take care 🌹

It was disgusting, it tasted like you downed an entire bottle of medicine after you finished your cup as honey made it very bitter, and it was already bitter, but it did work.

Driving a manual is kind of a normal thing in Europe. We just don't pursue it as a big deal. There are many new cars, especially sport ones, which don't have automatic, because manual gives you more control. But of course automatic is very convenient, in the city etc.
