Ryan - The "acne" around your tattoo could be a staph infection called folliculitis so you want to be careful and make sure to clean it with anti-bacterial / anti-microbial soap and bacitracin ointment. Just letting you know because it happened to me from a tattoo

If he had saniderm that could also cause that rash, I had blisters around the edges of the saniderm as my skin hates adhesives. 😅
