Something truly surreal happened! Jhaape and I were featured in The New York Times as part of their five-part NYC housing crisis newsletter (The Housing Crunch), all thanks to the apartment hunting saga!! We did an interview and photoshoot last week, right before leaving for Nepal. I’ve vlogged the whole experience, and it will be part of the upcoming vlogs. Here’s the link to the article if you’re interested: www.nytimes.com/2024/11/26/nyregion/how-to-fix-nyc-housing-crisis.html A huge thank you to YOU and our amazing community for making this opportunity possible, for your support, and for being here with us ❤. Also, a big shout-out to the New York Times editor who found the apartment hunting series and recommended us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

You might want to try getting some kind of padding for under the walking pad. Home depot sells interlocking floor padding for workout areas.
@catea25514 күн бұрын
maybe you can walk in the bathroom or a bedroom if they agree to a certain amount of hearing the noise? or wherever they aren't during that time. my upstairs neighbors don't give a rats how noisy they are. kids tumbling and jumping rope and running (not toddlers about 8 and 15). it is really horrible. shakes my apartment. you are very considerate.

What if you get a rug for the walking pad? There are soundproof pads for rugs as well. Don’t know how great they are, but worth a shot, I think. And of course, congrats on your NYT feature! That’s so cool! ❤

Beautiful baby shower send ❤. Oh when I saw the walking machine my heart missed a beat. Our ex neighbours had one and it was terrible. He seemed to live on it and the noise sent us crazy. He wasn't as accommodating as you hunny. We hung a flag out when he left. Anyway life goes on. New York looks amazing. We are thinking about coming to Christmas shop, trying to get a good flight deal. 🎉. Take care keep safe sending love to all. Rosie O UK 🇬🇧 x

Instead of buying sweetened yogurt full of sugar and added ingredients buy a grass fat plain creek yogurt a good one is “Stonyfield Organic 100% Grassfed Greek Whole Milk Yogurt” it’s pricey but it’s sooo good! You can add fresh berries or cacao nibs or nuts

Yes,T. Its hot in November because people dont understand that all the single use plastic they use,unnecessary one, the animals they eat,especially in the US, e.g.beef,pork,the dairy industry etc, in short the entire animal agriculture industry plus the overfishing and bottom-trawling is causing the problems. So, we can complain or we can take accountability and be responsible🤷♀️ How long will be keep blaming the corporation when we literally keep funding them😊

I take it Pratisha may be having a girl? Just a hunch 😁Does your family watch your vlogs? Is your name Tisha a shortened version of Pratisha? Some questions I’ve been wanting to ask, lol. Enjoy your time back home
@TishaShrestha4 күн бұрын
Hahah!! That’s a very good hunch 💗😊 my family watches all my videos since day 1 and have supported from the beginning 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. My first name is Nitisha :))). Back home my friends and family call me Nitu. After I moved to the US, some of my friends started to call me Tisha. That’s how I got the nickname. Feel free to ask anything else :) thank you 🇳🇵

Why would you return it? Here in Paris unless I’m doing it in the middle of the night nobody can tell me i can’t exercise for 1-2 hours in my own house. Maybe put a rug under but don’t return it for their sake.

🫨😱😱 *I want to tell your neighbors they live in NYC. ADAPT! I bet they watch your videos too! It is annoying no portable washer allowed to this low humming sound of a treadmill! I lknow you didn't ask but I hope you can find a better place once your lease is up but I understand not wanting to move again after a year again! Oy Vey!*
