Upping my salt and magnesium intake helped me tremendously! Plus reducing stress and getting enough movement in and enough calories (above 2000 a day). I know it’s different for everyone but maybe it helps! 🌞

Yes ! They’re hard to find but ppl gave me a few recs - the one at Chevy chase park has 4 walls which is nice or Glassel park rec center has one court that has a wall or I think Riverside courts on court 11 has a wall !

My Aunt passed away two days ago and when my mom called to tell me the news I was soooooo sad and didn't know what to do with my emotions. My thoughts were racing and I wanted to go for a walk to clear my mind, but it was wayyyyy too hot outside. I just kept sitting with my thoughts and I knew I had to let them out or I'd explode! I wrote a poem called "The Only Way Out is Through" (a phrase that is very helpful for me in my CoDa recovery) because I knew the only way I'd get out my spiraling thoughts was through writing. It's also a metaphor for how the only way out of life i through living it? Kind of morbid, but it helped me.

loving the sleeve your creating. tip for the sandiderm film removal when yr tattoo is ready: get it wet for a few minutes, then pull outward and it will lift. if you've ever removed a 3m hook from the wall, it's the same angle of pulling outward that creates a painless lift of the film.

I feel you on trying to keep a postive headspace! For me, two things have absolutely changed things for me, I bit the bullet and started to pay a cleaner to deep clean my apartment every two weeks. It has been worth every cent to leave in a clean and tidy space. Then I joined a fun free choir, and taking part in something like that has made me so much happier!

I just got a new tattoo and the artist said you're supposed to take off the second skin bandage under running water, preferably in the shower. I did that and it made it really painless!

A tip with those tattoo covering things for everyone getting tattoos is to run it under water as you peel it off and it’s not as painful :-)
