Living alone with a chowchow | Our weekday routine!

Hi everyone! Me (Blu) and mama wanted to share all of you our daily routine, specially on weekdays when mama goes to work 😔 I want to share with you our bonding. Specially when I hugs mama and she belly rubs me.. my favorite! ❤️🐾 Papa is currently outside the country, working. But he will come back here after 6 weeks! This brings back some wonderful memories. I had a cream Chow also and would take him out 2 times a day. I have a busy lifestyle and sometimes do not eat or sleep for 24 hours. When I get home I have to decide if I will eat (and sleep less) or sleep (and go to bed starving). every single day I make the same decision, I take my dog out for his walk. I miss my good precious boi!! Enjoy your dog , he is gorgeous!!! He will also defend you with his life!!!

He is the sweetest! And yes, he’s definitely a guard dog and a nurse 🥹😍🐕 when I’m not feeling well, he always stayed beside me, checking up on me.

@@shiffault chows are great guard dogs. They are very protective of their homes. You can check my other video. When he also take good care of me and a good guard dog. Chow chows are devoted and protective of their families.

I had a fawn chow chow way back in 1972 when they were quite rare. She was quite timid and a bit aloof. She hated hot weather but loved the thick snow and long winters we had then. My mum was her main carer as I was at junior school but I took my daily walking/grooming duties seriously. Luckily I had plenty of good places to take her off lead to the woods and the fields. She was the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. Sadly she passed away aged only 6 due to stomach cancer. Chow chows aren't your usual kind of dog. I still miss my girl 50 years later. Now got myself a little rescue cavapoo who has alot of medical problems, but she brings me lots of joy.

Where are you located with that skyline? My chows are jealous of how you care for your baby. I have a cream Chow and a tan Chow. Both old ladies like me. We are the Golden Girls.

I have two cream chow chow but the first one is gone! They are totally difference characters, the first one like the oldest son steady and mature, he never naughty, I’m very guilty that I was not good enough! The second one is super naughty, I gave him as much as love I can to compensate my mistake! I hate the time not allow me to go back

Hi Marcelo, a chow chow tends to be quite aloof and independent. This makes them ideal as a dog that can be left alone because they don't crave physical attention as much as other breeds. Chow chows also don't need a huge amount of exercise, so a walk when you're home from work will be plenty. Chows make for a great choice for both singles and people living with a large family, but of course no dog should be left alone for more than eight hours, regardless of breed.

Yes 🥹 when I checked him on cctv, most of the time he’s just sleeping or looking at the window 😭😭 but It’s just for 6 weeks, as my partner is working overseas. Usually when my partner is here.. he’s already at home around 11 in the morning, maximum 1pm. Then he will play with Blu. Then we will go to the dog park around 6pm or 7pm specially when it’s summer here., as it’s very hot. For now, we can still go out twice after my work.. coz it’s not yet that hot, but on summertime we can only go out once at night and that’s it.

Chows are laid back and couldn’t be bothered. He may be bored but he likes it that way. He’s chill and you can see during the walks he’s not hyper. That’s the wonderful breed chow. I don’t think I will own another breed.
