Thank you for coming on. This was a beautiful episode

Before I lived abroad it felt like people who came back home from abroad were asking for too much. But until you see another way of doing things you realise how unethical, unprofessional and slow we are doing things back home. The problem is our unwillingness to learn and move forward.

I agree! We are too comfortable with what we already know sometimes and that blocks us learning new things

This was a good conversation, I encourage everyone to explore the opportunity to visit/study/live abroad. There is so much you can learn outside UG. I left UG in 2015, and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Side note: Please take turns to ask questions or share so that everyone has an opportunity to participate. Prim looks like she is in a different room today. Bump love and TMI model the taking of turns well, I think you should borrow the idea. Otherwise, keep up the good work you're doing.

What is baffling is not a single time did Claire or Fiona ask Prim if ‘she had anything to add’. Banange you guys have to figure out this turn taking dynamics. Before its used to be Fiona being interrupted now it has evolved and sorry not for the better.

@@lizkabange I've noticed it too. If she's not in the best mental space, a break might be a good idea. There's nothing wrong with listening and observing, but since it's a talk show/podcast, her voice is definitely important to keep the flow going. Hopefully, she'll feel more engaged as it progresses!

Could you include Prim in your future conversations. Seems She is being excluded. You could engage her so that she feels inclusive. I know with previous episodes she has tended to voice out but this contrary isnt showcasing the best of the show.

Not to put them against each other but I’m equally irritated First of all if u have a guest why are you constantly answering the questions posed to her. You want to be the host and guest at the same time. Nedda Nansikombi. It’s okay to relate to a scenario here and there but making every single thing about yourself hapana. Prim is trying to keep her composure not that she is quiet.
@saradodo10645 ай бұрын
Isn't this a bit harsh,prim is a grown woman come on. She is choosing to be withdrawn so don't blame another person for it.
@miriam_miriam5 ай бұрын
@@saradodo1064The question then should be why is she choosing to be withdrawn knowing very well she is usually excited,interactive and engaging? It’s exhausting having to keep cut short mid way your opinion. But also they have mentioned before that they shoot about 4 episodes a day maybe she was tired from the previous ones.

If this is a podcast, why is Prim not saying anything? This is a podcast for crying out loud😂😂😂😂. Maybe she needs a break because her presence makes no sense. This goes to anyone looking for scholorships, i failed senior 6, and i mean, i did not qualify to go to muk. However, i got a scholorship to study in Canada. After S6, i worked as a receptionist at an organization in Uganda for one year, and because i had access to the internet, i used it to apply for scholorships. I wrote an excellent statement letter about myself and what skills i learned while working as a receptionist. I got the scholorship to one of the best Universitys in Canada. Me,an S6 failure who relatives shuned and looked down on. I left for Canada in 2008. If you have some work experience, write a good statement letter or ask someone to guide you or help you edit your letter. Do not look down on your circumstances. I should also add that in my statement letter, i explained why i failed senior 6. The circumstances under which i was studying were not favorable and so many other things.

You were complaining that she over talks and doesn't give others chance to talk. now that she is quiet and listening to them, it is also a problem😢
@Flourish_today5 ай бұрын
@pesh179 There needs to be a balance on podcasts. You can't talk over people and then suddenly go silent and not say a single word. This is the mediocre we are talking about. When we just accept things and not say anything.
