A&W Food Services of Canada, Inc. is a Canadian fast food restaurant chain.
A&W Canada was part of the U.S.-based A&W Restaurants chain, but was sold to Unilever in 1972, and then bought by its management in 1995. It no longer has any corporate connection to A&W operations outside of Canada.
The Canadian operation is owned and operated by the privately held A&W Food Services of Canada Inc., based in North Vancouver, British Columbia.[3] In December 2013, A&W was Canada's second-largest fast food burger restaurant chain with 800 locations after McDonald's, which has 1,400 Canadian locations.
History
A Canadian A&W (in Stratford, Ontario)
The first Canadian A&W restaurant opened in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1956. The Canadian restaurants were part of the American chain until 1972 when they were sold to Unilever.
In 1975, facing competition from the growing Canadian operations of McDonald's, the company launched what was to have been a temporary advertising campaign starring an orange-clad mascot, The Great Root Bear. The bear and the tuba jingle that accompanied him became a long-running campaign (the tune, entitled "Ba-Dum, Ba-Dum", was released as a single by Attic Records, credited to "Major Ursus", a play on Ursa Major or "great bear"). The mascot was so successful that he was eventually adopted as the mascot by the American A&W chain as well. The famous tuba jingle was played by famed Vancouver jazz, classical and session trombonist Sharman King. King also did the ads for the "Book Warehouse" chain of discount book stores, which he owned.

I admit that sometimes those gas station foods are a weakness of mine... coming from living in such a tiny town that it was the closest thing I had at times to "eating out" other than the local Chinese Food place, which my parents could only afford once a month or so. So to this day, I'm not a hater of those gas station sub sandwiches. I am exactly the part of a generation and small town identity that considered them special, and still checks them out to this day.

Idk if there’s a way to do this but maybe the front passenger seat you could take off and put it on backwards the it would be a seat but facing the back of the van. Move the cot to the drivers side and you could recline the seat. A lot of RVs have turning seats that would be like that

Oh btw about the car chargers... no charger exists that can charge a car from empty to full in under about 35-40 minutes. However, charging from empty to half full, for instance, is faster. The more full a battery is, the slower it charges.

you should do a cross country trip to Vancouver in your Van and Vlog it. You could go to a national or provincial park in each province go to special restaurant or mom.&pop shops in each town . you could sleep in your van and take us on a tour on each town in canada

Couple of thoughts. A flexi solar sheet on your car roof adds constant recharging if you can house a leisure battery. An electric blanket might add more comfort without using the buddy heater. If you have a composter at home you could make your own gas for your heater!

I always thought crisps (potato chips) were the product with the most empty space in the packed but i think that popcorn gives them a run for their money. At least the crisps/chips have the excuse that it's done to protect the contents, I don't think you need to worry about popcorn getting smashed up.

@@imaramblins boaters who don’t or can’t keep enough fresh water on board for showers (showering in seawater isn’t too pleasant afterwards) sometimes use rubbing alcohol on various body parts. Might smart a bit in some cases, of course.

Get the inflatable chair, they are just cheap from China on ebay or Amazon. It won't take up space when your not using it and are comfortable. They sit low to the ground so it's essentially an inflatable bean bag but some are nice and alot of options.
