The salary there is really high, so I don't think these prices are that high. Food there in the supermarket is only 1,5-3 times that of Hanoi, Vietnam. But the salary is at least 7-10 times here in Vietnam (average)

Funny, the prices of danish food are just like in my home country (Romania), but here the average salary is less then 700 euro per month and the minimum is 300 euros per month! Sooo glad that i will move there soon (Denmark, i mean)! :)) oh...and the rent is also expensive, just like in Copenhagen! P.S. You should come in Romania, go to a Mega Image super market and buy 300 grams of salmon fish with 50 euros =)))

This should be cost of living for one individual for family of four it will be much higher. How abt daily transport. If you work at an hour distance from Copenhagen and prefer taking the train for work everyday. What are prices of cars.heard they are very pricey.

Hi Sun Blaze If you leave here with your family, the cost of living will be much cheaper as renting an apartment will cost much cheaper than renting individual rooms, on the other hand, you can buy discount goods which are usually for family. An hour trip will take min 5 to 6 zones, so in this case, if you are a student you can buy all the zone tickets in discount price which is around DKK700. Using a car is surely expensive than using public transport. I would suggest living in Copenhagen and using Bicycle as a main mode of transport. Thanks
