God the Mother taught us to live for eternity. The temporary will pass away soon and the eternal will come afterwards. The earthly things and what we can see are temporary and the heavenly things and what is to come are eternal. We may focus on things we can see and live for them. However think about people who live for the earthly things only. Did they take anything from what they have achieved? Rather, apostle Paul who lived for preaching the new covenant and discarded his earthly fame and honour for that could enter the kingdom of heaven. Let us examine ourselves whether we are only living for this temporary life or living for the kingdom of heaven and glory of God!

We live by making choices every moment. Because I'm a person, I also want to choose the easy route for every moment. But we must make a choice for eternity with an eye of faith rather than immediate comfort. Like the early church members, shouldn't you now choose to enter the eternal heaven even if you are suffering and persecuted? Thinking of the glory that we will have in heaven, we will never be able to overcome the hardships we have now.
