What a beautiful place, I would be sad if I had left those cottages above the clouds. I loved the morning scenes that open the window to get the amazing view of the surrounding mountains. I think life must be tough there but ultimately I think it's much richer and more fulfilling. You looked like a kid in candy store finding and fixing those tools. I can definitely feel the excitement of repairing something old and making it usable again. :-D I love the wooden bucket, the old ladles hanging on the wall and that awesome back scratcher rake!! 😂That whetstone you repaired reminded me of something used to sharpen my father's tools. Swinging the ax six times to split that huge log is pretty impressive, good job sharpening it! The setting sun and the clouds flowing from mountain valleys are enchanting, making the world feel as if it is softly breathing scene. Spectacular! I definitely think you should go there again, absolutely! I've hiked, camped, skiied and snowshoed in the White Mountains, in the northeast US, it's part of the Appalachian mountain range ( I've hiked in a few other areas in the southern part of that range as well.) that runs nearly the length of the eastern coast; it was a couple of hours north of where I lived. I loved the raw beauty of the mountains there. If I could, I would happily spend all of my life in the forest of the mountains; I get a sense of pure fulfillment and peace when I'm there. Thank you for taking us with you on your journey, it was wonderful! As always, be safe, happy and well. :-)
