Never make your bed on check-out!!!! We've been exposed to dirty sheets etc etc. I will always strip the beds totally to assist them and to make the sheets etc are changed. Blessings on finding your next home base.

Find a close knit community or Village to have a home base. No contracts, they'll keep an eye on your place while you're gone on a trip. Build to your specifications and don't buy someone else's headaches. Vacant lot first and build when you are ready.

If you come back to Michigan especially the UP you need to hike Pictured Rocks. My husband & I are 64 and we do an 11 mile hike every year. No wild animals and the beauty of Lake Superior & rocks are awe inspiring.

My suggestion since you are taking older age into consideration…… a stair case into a loft for living quarters might not be a good idea. If for some reason you ended up with a broken leg or unable to climb stairs for some reason. I only mention because the older I get the less stairs I want to climb. Just a thought. Great video BTW!
