INCREDIBLE !!!!!!! I can't imagine anyone not wanting to live there, I myself would first be crying like a baby for that possibility. Then I would be delirious, ecstatic, supremely happy living there, Hawaii and the tree house. Although living in Hawaii within itself would/could be wonderful. I'd never leave. Sir, you are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to have both. At first I thought you owned it and lived there all the time, but it's still a great relaxing environment and how wonderful that people would have the opportunity to stay there. Just fantastic !!! 💜

On the Big Island of Hawaii is so beautiful and green cause of the amount of time it rains, it rains a lot there 💧💦☔☁🌈 I was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii and love that I get to wake up to the beauty of this island, and our gorgeous beaches we have here 😍😍 I didn't even know there was a tree house up on the Big Island...lol well the last time I was there I was just a kid, and now more than ever I wanna see this beautiful tree house, Mahalo so much for sharing...Aloha

I lived in the volcano area of the Big Island for the first 40 yrs. of my life. Moved to the rat race on Oahu because that's where the jobs were. Really miss the place. Still got family in Hilo town (about 30-40 minutes away. Great boar hunting out there and for sure you'd want some source of heat because that place is wet, rainy, foggy and can get really chilly especially at night. Glad you experienced it!

That’s cute! My sister got married at a treehouse and that was some pretty scary stuff having to climb the spiral stairs and feeing the whole place shift even the slightest bit anytime the wind blew or someone walked across it! The scariest part was having to go pee and feeling the whole place shifting around when you had your pants down and made you feel quite vulnerable because the only thing you could do was hold onto something next to you knowing that even if you hang on, no matter what you hang onto was also going to crash to the ground with you if the whole place fell and there wasn’t a damn thing you could do if it did! I’m sure that takes getting used to, but the whole thing was still pretty cool!

Questions. 1. So the owners probably rent this place for a pretty penny, correct ? 2. It was professionally built so it's a permitted structure, correct ? 3 Do you know anything about the building techniques ? I'm sure many watching this video would like to build something similar. 4. I gather that the house has running water, a bathroom, sink, stove, electric, etc ? That means you must have a noisy generator ? A water catchment system with filters and pumps ?
@JoeyRiz6 жыл бұрын
1 Not as much as you would think with what you get. check their website 2 Treehouse Masters 3 Watch Treehouse Masters I love the show 4 Only rainwater, it's collected and pumped into the house for showers and washing, no drinking. The bathroom has a composting toilet. The house runs off of batteries at night and generator only runs for a short time during the day. Great setup but i think they will try and do solar also soon
@johnmazza94326 жыл бұрын
I've been watching lots of videos about building off the grid in Hawaii but you soon learn that living off the grid can be a lot more difficult than it sounds. Many videos about building with shipping containers but those things can be like living in a tin can - either too hot or too cold. And the problem with wood is that the termites attack it in Hawaii. Seems like the best alternative would be to use pressure treated wood. Boric acid or Borax can help to kill termites. Do you have any idea how this tree house is protected from insects ?

For ethical reasons, I will not make joking comments about Hawaii, because at the time of uploading this video Volcano was not awake. If someone is going to call me an idiot (or worse), please do not be so obvious, be at least subtle. In short, there is nothing that makes me return to Hawaii.
@JoeyRiz6 жыл бұрын
Volcano is always awake because the big island is the newest island. The eruptions are an unfortunate natural event. Can't be afraid to live your life.
