I have like 30 thousand to spend to start off but I’m not sure how to even start buying a house 😫

That’s a nice chunk of change my friend. A great next step would be to visit with a loan officer/lender to talk about how you can leverage that 30k with your income and credit. By the way, you were right about the traffic. When I learned back roads it is easy to go around the traffic area. But there is another issue. It’s hard to make friends here.
