Love Buckroe. It’s one of two beaches 🏖 in the area that I’ve actually touched the water so far in my 18 years in this area lol. I love the vibe in general. My kids do too.

As a native of Buckroe I can honestly say that for every bit of improvement there has been more and more crime including GANGS. It has become an unsafe shi*hole.

Almost Asbury Park, NJ like and we cannot wait to explore this area for retiring to..and I am a musician so the music is important!

Southeast Virginia is no place to retire to. It's filthy, heartless and very high crime.

Compared with the 1950s-1060s, today Buckroe Beach is a dead zone.

They have done a lot of progress to this beach over the 53 years of my lifetime but I can tell you that it's drug Haven Man full of drug Haven it is it's like painting a pretty picture over a lot of dirt that's the truth of it

Buckroe Beach was very nice in the early 70's. It's not that great anymore. Lots of crime, bad neighborhood. And once it gets dark outside, women and children should NEVER go there. This puff piece doesn't tell you the REAL truth about that area.
