Well made, however I would have liked some pictures/ impressions from students "outside of the dormatory" - to get some impressions of cottbus/ the area in general. But it is has shine through, that its a "quiet" town/ no typical party city (like Berlin or Hypzig)

How’s the discrimination?

If you don't look like the typical western person, you will face racism everywhere in Germany (and all parts of Europe). Some people say that this is true in particular for East Germany as the density of far right and less educated people is higher there, so this is also the case for Cottbus. Sadly, you would likely face racism on a regular basis, many people aren't even aware of it as it often comes only in small nuances. You would have to live with it. The good thing in Cottbus is the cheap living expanses. Apartments are cheap, you have plenty of different supermarkets and can reach Leipzig and Berlin by train (for around 15€) in around 1.5 hours. If you have any particular questions, you can add me on Discord or Instagram. Just reply here and I will send you my name.

@@morioh9948 Hey, thanks for the breakdown. This is a topic I'm curious about myself and would appreciate being able to reach out further. How is discrimination in areas like Braunschweig, Saarland?
