@@StudentSurvivalGuide Well, I'd read about what happens after getting a job so about work life. I know for example it's common to work around 36-37 hours in a week, or at 2 PM on Friday is almost all about drinking beer with the boss at least chilling :D So some insights. Or Danish culture, culture shocks...Just some ideas :)

@@zsofiatamasy9645 Yes that is correct, I have personally never experienced this as I work as a freelancer but many friends tell me about the 2pm beer and I'm very jealous haha. I will definitely look into this type of content at some point :) - Mike

Good luck in Copenhagen finding a room for under 4000kr as international student. You could get lucky and get a room in a kollegium, but then sacrifice location often (for example DIK in Albertslund). Housing in super competitive, especially in August/September when the students arrive. I would say 4500 to 5000 is average for a room in a apartment in Copenhagen, even up 5500kr. In terms of actual budget in Copenhagen, I would say 1200 euro or 9000 kroner is more accurate in terms of budget if you want to live ok and enjoy life while still budgeting.

Great content! You're asking the questions that need to be asked. Thanks for that. So, for your calculations in general If I hypothetically manage to find some part time job and also be eligible to receive the SU, it could cover the greater part of my main expenses (accommodation, groceries, transport) 800~1000€. And I would be able to save my salary? If I am as spared as you, in this case.

If you can secure a scholarship then it should be paid but this is best answered by the university. Expect to spend between 12.000-15.000 a month living in Aarhus. I'd love to play but this channel might not be the best medium for that! :)

In your opinion, how much is it difficult to regularly do a part-time job and getting the SU while studying a Master's program on Engineering in Copenhagen? I know it's a difficult question because there are a lot of variables, although, I think 10-11 hours a week are not a joke while attending a full course, especially if you want to stay in time...
