I was born and raised in Fallon, but moved to Oregon in 1992. It is amazing how much it has grown and enjoyed seeing this update to the town of Fallon, still miss it. However, there is one mistake in this video. Fort Churchill is not "east" of Fallon but west between Silver Springs and Carson City. I have been there many time so know right where it is. Someone should have edited this video before. releasing it.

Yes,,,, i was stationed there for 5 years total,,, its a very Nice base with housing and all,,,, i had both my children there in the mid 80s,,, great schools,,, and if anyone tells you theres nothing to do there,,,, then they just dont get out if fallon and enjoy lake tahoe,,, Reno,, Virginia City is Really Cooooool,,,, theres Lahontan Reservoir,,, Lykes Lakes and more Indian lakes to fish with a $5.00 a day permit!!! Trout fishing big time!!!!! I myself had an amazing time there and would go back there to live again....

As a matter of fact top gun 2 was shot in fallon in regards to its authenticity and all fighter pilots are trained here including us as a nation helping other countries they bring people from Afghanistan to train the to fly . Maybe your insight is incorrect in regards to Fallon as there is also so much more .. It is “ the Navy Ariel “ . Are you calling the Navy a joke The town and the people are the most amazing people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I am very thankful,proud and fortunate to say the least
