Everyone said that 1 Peter 2:24 was spiritual healing, but you CANNOT deny Matthew 8:17 when it says he bore your diseases. Also I think that's why in Isaiah 52:14 it say's his appearance was so disfigured and he didn't look human is because he literally was carrying our diseases on the cross/pole. I think sometimes it can be hard for an individual to just rest in that and not be carnal. especially since you've the worlds system exposed to you since birth. I know God loves it when we just trust and rest in him.

If one puts Isaiah 53, Matthew 8 and 1 Peter 2:24 together. It is clear healing is physical. Jesus healed people in Matthew 8 after he healed Peter 's mother in law in order to fulfill Isaiah 53 by his stripes we are healed. Think on your own and ask Holy Spirit to help you and it will be clear. We are healed by the stripes Jesus took on His way to the Cross.
