Shared accommodation here allows for short-term here, 1-3 months, these days some council areas now give discounts and not a complete exemption to students. The documentation process to get a house on your own no be here oo

What's the essence of the deposit after paying rent. Can you please expatiate on that.

Usually the deposit is refundable, it’s for if something gets spoilt in the house, they deduct and give back the balance. For my accommodation, I just moved paying the deposit then I started paying rent the next month. I hope I tried to explain it
