I don’t intend to haha Would you look at coming here on a work Visa or something? Or a student Visa to learn the language? Either way, I would suggest coming here with some savings if that is something that is possible. The 3 Ts. Trash. Tattoos. Tsuya. In 14 years, I only got in trash trouble 2 or 3 times. I love the A4 bright orange violation sticker they will put on a rejected bag😂! Even if I didn’t violate policy, the little old ladies in the neighborhood would still blame me because I was the only foreigner. Classic! Do you have the tattoo on your finger? If you put tape on it, you can go to an onsen. I had some really good tape from the USA that would stay on even in hot water. I’ve only got one little tattoo below my ankle. I always thought it would be cool to get an upper arm band of palm trees. It’s kind of my dream tree. Tsuyu, Japanese rainy season. Enjoy the rain! I’m looking into moving to Southeastern, Arizona. 15 miles from the Mexican border. Quite a little town, very inexpensive compared to Colorado. I found a mid-century modern house that I’m excited about. I can’t wait to see how this ends up. Hard to shop from 1500 km away As always interesting to see what you’re up to. You need to hit recycle shops and see what they have. Those can be lots of fun. Great bargains and can be a Japanese time machine sometimes. Cool stuff! Thanks for the update brother. Hi Christian so one month ago I've talking to my friends about japan they recommended me to visit japan for few weeks or few months before making a decision if I want to move to japan from the US if I like it much then I'll settled my life there
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Hey mate! Absolutely, that sounds like the best plan of action. I always would advise coming here to visit first. One to understand if it’s for you and two is to see where you’d like to live. I love just putting in music and walking around cities with a coffee. Best way to take in a city! Best of luck with your decision for Japan 🇯🇵🙋🏽♂️

Great video, found it off HelloTalk! Great to hear a recent and genuine experience of this city. I'll be moving into this city in August, from Ireland!! I'm even more excited now, hopefully i can make friends too! Do you have Any tips for Fukuoka specifically? I understand it's a very different climate, wondering if I'll need rain gear, warm sweaters,etc
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Oh that’s awesome man! Yeah Hellotalk is a fantastic way to make friends and get in your Japanese practice at the same time. I haven’t had enough time lately to chat on there though. That’s heaps exciting you have the plan to move to Japan and especially Fukuoka. It’s honestly such a great city. Not overwhelming and I’ve found everyone super inviting. If you want a good bar with a blend of foreigners and Japanese to help integrate, check out Cheers Fukuoka. Very chill and friendly. Yeah maybe a raincoat wouldn’t hurt haha typhoon season is approaching so I would suggest a good umbrella also! But because we are a beachside city, the summer temperatures are actually not bad especially in comparison to Tokyo or Osaka that get no ocean winds. Best of luck on your journey to Japan legend 🇯🇵 if you see me running around filming be sure to say Hi 👍🏽

Abusouuuuluteeee legend. Now when you open your coffee shop (if this is the plan long term) I will be a regular because all the people I know that live in 福岡 say that they'll never leave so 👀Defs gunna be a regular if that ends up happening down the path!

Ayyy thank you buddy! So good to hear for you again, and appreciate you tuning ✌🏽 Absolutely! The coffee shop is still high on the list on things to start here. It’s a longer term goal but that just gives me time to make something rad and unique. And 福岡 IS THE SPOT! Honestly, after years of traveling here I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to find it haha But, Im here now and looking forward to seeing you are the shop! Appreciated 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵

Great video, but I only think of questions AFTER this has gone live 😁 So, it would be: Roughly, what percentage of shops etc can I pay for things by simply tapping my bank card, in UKP and it does the transaction and conversation into yen in one go, please? I can't remember the last time I actually paid for anything in cash! 😁 Additionally, not sure I'd use the Discord, simply because everyone seems to have them and I never get into those, either. There's so many social media platforms out there, and I spend enough time on the ones I can remember.
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Haha not a problem mate, there will be more of these in the future so keep an eye out in the community posts. I love answering questions. Yeah I’m going to touch base on this in a future tips video. But basically, most places you can use credit card now. I suggest using wise for the great rates. Though always have the physical card handy as not all places accept tap to pay. Also, always carry some cash on you still. I don’t use cash as often now but alot of places still only take cash. Haha yeah totally understand Discord won’t be for everyone. It just seems like a great space for me to connect with you all better but all of your to connect with eachother which I love the idea of. It will be really fun so hopefully I see you in there mate! Thanks again for tuning in buddy 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵
@DVDfeverGames5 ай бұрын
@@hangswithchristian Thanks for the tip re: Wise, and a dedicated video about this sort of thing would be great. For Wise, where would you pick the money up from, if it's all done online? Using the physical card would be fine. I generally do that over 'tap to pay' as the latter requires me to have a screen lock on my phone, and then I end up getting annoyed by having to use it every single time the screen goes off. 😁
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Sorry mate, catching up on all replies. Its been a wild week haha So if you need cash, you can just use the Wise card at an ATM in the 7-11. Works perfectly! 7-11 are always your best friend when needing cash. Never issues with ATMs from any card hey!

Sorry for the random technical question but how are you getting audio into your camera (phone?) from the DJI mic?
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Hey mate! Not at all, always happy to answer questions. Actually anytime I use the DJI Mic it’s paired with my DJI Pocket 3. I actually haven’t tried with the phone as I haven’t had a need yet. The iPhone 15 is great for audio on its own tbh. But I’m pretty sure with bluetooth you are able to pair the mic up but I haven’t tried yet. Are you wanting to get one of these mic’s? Noise canceling is amazing!
@Ccoolty5 ай бұрын
@@hangswithchristian Gotcha! If I can make a minor suggestion, try it with the noise cancellation turned off? The wind muff usually provides enough built-in noise protection, plus you'll get much better audio quality! 🤩
@hangswithchristian5 ай бұрын
Oh you didn’t find the audio good quality? Haha I actually got it specifically for the noise canceling as everywhere outside is so noisy here with traffic and sounds unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though buddy!
