@dariadariya - I grew up in Japan & understand that slurping the soup is a part of the Japanese culture. It is not seen as rude at all. What is rude is commenting on her culture’s etiquette. Not only that, she is in her country that practices such etiquette. There are bigger things to worry about than how someone eats their soup. How about practicing politeness & kindness?
