I used to pick a block near me and try to go into the stores, restaurants or businesses I'd never gone into if they were open to the public. You could also do this with a random street if you want to get out of the area you're familiar with. I also tried to get to the local tourist sights I hadn't been to. I like your exploring vlogs.

So excited to see how taking up Korean lessons again. When you are finished with your course, it would be curious to know what your thoughts are on your Korean journey. Like how much you feel classes are helping etc. Adrienne, something I have found really inspiring about you the last few years is your dedication to a capsule wardrobe. I love your style, and the way you pair things together with fewer items always looks so clean and simple (but in the best way).

hi adrienne! been a silent, casual viewer of yours since you first moved to korea (thank you youtube recommendations!!) and have absolutely loved your vlogs, especially your weekly ones where we get to see a day-to-day look into your routine and busan! they're comforting and well-paced, and it's definitely not boring at all. i just love seeing the shops/restaurants/places you go to because it inspires me to one day visit korea!! that, plus the fact that you're truly a gem makes your vlogs extra lovely because your positive personality shines through😊✨ keep doing what you're doing, and thank you for making your vlogs!

It's really relaxing and nice watching these kinds of day in the life vlogs. Things like getting new pants hemmed because they're too long, finally checking out a new food stall you've been eyeing, what it was like in the exercise class with your bf (I had no idea there are exercise classes in the dark with candles! It's an interesting idea, and I think it would help me feel less self conscious about my body because then I could really just focus on the workout.) It's always really nice to see Cleo and get updates. It's so cute seeing her in the pink flower soft cone.

I’m really interested as a retired woman as to what exactly you do as a freelancer, it’s so broad, obviously you vlog. It’s such a new way to earn a living compared to what was on offer to my generation. When I left school as a young woman if you were considered academic you went to university or got an apprenticeship such as in hairdressing. Alternatively, you trained at college as a secretary, a nanny or went to nursing college, or shop work, all very female driven. I went down the secretarial route and didn’t get the opportunity to go to university until my mid 40s.

Mobility is one of those things that is really hard when you have limitations, sometimes it takes a lot of encouragement to get up and go when you struggle so much. It is always impressive to see elderly people pushing through those boundaries and improving their lives the best way that they know how. My mobility is also very limited but I've decided that I am going to try and motivate myself to go outside at least once a week 🤷🏻♀️ I plan to do a combination of rolling in my wheelchair and walking my wheelchair 😅 It is definitely not always easy but that is going to be my goal in the coming weeks and months 😊

I'm glad Cleo's doing better! She looks much happier and more confident. It also makes me so happy that you were able to find a yoga studio like that because it gives me hope that I can find one in Japan. I had to say goodbye to my studio that I've been going to for over TWO YEARS last weekend and it was devastating. I have a family there after so long and saying goodbye was so tough, but I'm going to spend six weeks with my parents before I move to the literal other side of the planet at the end of July so it was time to say goodbye and save that money and focus on packing. I really hope I can find another studio in Japan!

I think the beauty of posting your “mundane” life is that making it into a video means it’s not mundane? Idk if that makes sense…but you’re romanticizing your life to make it feel less boring than it is🫶🏻 I think it’s a smart thing to do when you’re maybe in a rut or feeling stuck ☺️ at least that’s how I’ve been trying to view it!
