LA or California generally always gives a nice magical, creative and spiritual vibe watching this video. A friend of mine years ago who had gone from here in London to there to study at UCLA loved it there . He said even though there are the cons but pros outweigh them .He mentioned every 2nd person he met was either someone trying to be an actor, writer, producer or director ect

I remember after just moving to LA to be a finish carpenter in the luxury homes in the hills I had $20 to my name until I got payed in a couple days. Got out of work drove down the hill desperately needed gas. Pulled up to that gas station and saw full service for like $7 a gallon. Yup. My last $20 at the most expensive gas station hahaha. Good times. I’m gonna be moving back to LA in the next month or 2 to go full out on my building career. I love new construction development and there’s nothing like learning everything I can with a company in the hills of Los Angeles . Until I’m ready to do my own builds in a cheaper area hahaha.

I love your comprehensive details conveying of LA. Really nicely delivered in this video. I think there is more pro's than cons living in LA. Yes, parts of It would be the hectic traffic, but you cant deny how nice it is to live on a nice and warm sunny state...i think most ppl move there for that haha. Great content for your viewers Darren, as much as i like your mansion tours, this is also a great channel to know about LA! ❤❤❤

Wow, what an awesome video and message! I’d live in LA in a heartbeat if I could, and it’s so nice to hear a positive and genuine perspective of the city I love and visit several times every year. It really is an awesome and unique place. You’re so lucky to live there!

Love this video. I moved from NYC to LA 2 years ago for work. I am a hard core New Yorker and I would definitely say LA is amazing! I am enjoying my time living here. I was able to find a semi attached house in NOHO for just over 2k rent per month. Ok neighborhood but next year I'll look into some nicer areas. The only thing I wish LA had more of is public transportation. I don't like driving so I depend on ubers and the limited public transportation we have. But no complaints. Love this place!

How much more expensive is ubering around/using public transport in LA in comparison to just driving with the car yourself?

Good objective video. Another pro is how close the desert and mountains are to LA. In 90 minutes, you can be in Palm Springs, Lake Arrowhead, or Big Bear skiing and snowboarding. I've always said that LA is what you make of it.

All these videos make it look great, but it’s a dump these days. The homelessness run rampant, the filth, the crazy laws that allow people to steal up to $950 without facing consequences, the crime, not being able to use water and electricity how you want, etc. You think someone trying to sell real estate out there is going to tell the truth? lol the policies implemented by the democrats is destroying the once beautiful state.

So what makes the best breakfast burrito and where are your favorite places?
@darrenkrizlosangeles11 ай бұрын
great question.. typically the basic eggs, bacon/sausage, potatos need some good crunch (preferably hashbrowns), always add avocado if it doesn't already come in it.. AND the specific salsa that comes with it is very important.
@darrenkrizlosangeles11 ай бұрын
Some favorites are dialog, great white, the corner, bread & breakfast, rooster, many more
@thecountrycritic847511 ай бұрын
Sounds about right, there are basic staples to a breakfast burrito, it's just about nailing those ingredients. I'd say one way lots of places fail is by overcooking the eggs, and then when they mix the eggs with the other hot ingredients, they overcook even more and get rubbery. The cheese should be shredded fresh from a block, not store bought pre-shredded which has anti-caking agents. Potatoes should definitely be crispy, either as hashbrowns like you said, or diced relatively small and seasoned properly. Bacon also needs to be crispy but not dry, and the sausage should have a nice crust and also not dry. The tortilla also needs to be slightly grilled after the burrito is constructed instead of cold and floppy. And yeah, what doesn't avocado make better? Salsa can be hit or miss, but as long as the tomatoes and diced herbs are fresh, that's 90% of the battle. @@darrenkrizlosangeles

Hm, gonna have to look those places up since I haven't really found a good one in the Venice area as of yet... San Diego had a ton of great burrito spots though@@darrenkrizlosangeles

This video is a fantastic guide to the Pros and Cons of living in Los Angeles in 2024! If you're looking for a unique healing experience in the city, I highly recommend the Quantum Clinic. They offer an inclusive space where you can tune into your body's innate wisdom for epigenetic healing.

Pretty difficult to take this seriously when you try to justify that the cons. A $9 latte, dealing with disingenuous people, and wasting hours of my life in traffic are not making me a better person.

I visited LA for the first time in 2022. I liked it. It had a chill vibe. I didn't see a lot of homeless people. The Hollywood walk of fame wasn't like it's shown on TV, but I'm glad I was able to experience it.
