I am inspired by these people. It's not poverty that kills people, it's their attitude. And these men, have some optimistic attitude even in adversity. These are the Mexicans I know. Too bad beyond Mexico's borders only a few would recognize us as we truly are. Too bad many "richer" Mexicans are ashamed of their own people. Money has nothing to do with anything, it's a people's culture, a people's set of values that makes life worth living. Thank you for the video.

I think you did excellent in selecting this part of Mexico.. this the beauty of Mexico (being a Mexican myself) we make the most of the little we have. If you're in Mexico searching for the 5 star restaurant ..ha you better believe it will be a taco stand.

that's why I comprender the hard work Mexicans do here in the USA, they are very experienced in every kind of job, and if they don't know how to do the job, they try it and they improvise it!.

Alex Zabala Not beautiful??? We have beautiful beaches, tropical forests, different kinds of deserts, snow capped volcanoes, prairies, woodlands, etc. Mexican food is known all around the world. Just look at the culture, Spanish colonial towns, etc. Mexico is beautiful. Bad stuff happens everywhere just look at all the mass shootings going on in the US, but not all the US is like that is it? Same goes for Mexico, it's not all about cartels, shootings, murders, whatever, you get the idea.

Hey, thanks for making and posting this video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. For some reason I've always had this infatuation with the monotonous occurences people in other countries encounter on a daily basis. Id recommend anyone who is tired of living the fast life, traffic and stuff like that to give it a try. This video portrays the everyday life of a normal uneducated person who has to hustle to make a living decently. Mexico is not the dangerous country other nations portray. Here in mexico you must use common sense in order to avoid any problems. Id say 90% of the people getting killed by drug cartels are people involved in the same business. Great video by the way. Shows the humble and hard working side of mexico.

Hi, im Mexican and I would like to point out that, living in Tuxtla and living in Monterrey is reaaaallyyyyy different... you cant compare Tuxtla with Monterrey, or DF with Guanajuato, or Jalapa with Cd. Victoria... That would be an interesting thing to say on the video description, because many people (not mexicans) thinks that we live poorly in all parts of Mexico or that we dont have things like computer, cellphone, walmart, etc... By the way... nice video, really good ;D

something ive noticed living in mexico and USA, in mexico there is MUCH MUCH more freedom. Corruption in the government has made it easier than easy for people to get away with things. Living in the USA as an illegal keeps me indoors MOST of the time. In mexico, its parties EVERY saturday.. in USA its MAYBE every other saturday. (Not much family) All in all, i like mexico better because OBVIOUSLY its what im more comfortable with.

@denzelxii I agree, as a Mexican, I can tell you that places like Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla and Queretaro are just some great examples of what you mentioned. I really like the fact that Mexico is rapidly developing, but I noticed that as a country gets more developed, people socialize less and people get more isolated. Truth is, I dont want Mexicos people to turn cold, reserved, isolated, depressed, etc.

although I agree with your comment, I and many other would like to see a different side to Mexico. but i guess if they want something playful they need to watch a video from a younger journalist or youtuber. but this video is needed as much as a playful one. I spent my summers in mexico, my town is dominantly fair skin Mexicans with light brown, green/blue eyes my grandmother owns a numerous amounts of commercial and residential land. it was great to see the side of mexico I forget exists.

Itll be an experience but if you have mexican relatives theyll show you the ropes, you become humble here in my city MEXICO.

"To survive" Key words from Jose. You could say the same thing about the general population in the US! The difference is that currently the concerns or priorities of life are different in the US vs Mexico. The monthly mortgage payment to keep the 3 or 4 bedroom home with the 2 door garage,1 or 2 cars, etc.and generally husband and wife both work to maintain this LIFESTYLE! & this are not the so call 1%.Life for most MX is less stressfull they dont focus on material things, survival & familiy is #1.

The Mrs. says: Do not be fooled by a few old people who have migrated down to that sub-standard life/ There is nothing there, it's lacking anything an old person is going to eventually need, it is shitty and low quality and those peons will do nothing for you, I have had my experience with those people and brother you are so much better off here in the states. Medical facilities are so antiquated it's a fricking joke, don't go, there are cheaper places to live in the U.S. Their Government can take away anything from you in a blink of an eye and run your old ass off, you cannot won anything down there, not even with your Immigrante paper's it's very corrupt so stay the hell out of that rat hole country.
