We're planning to visit November 20-28 to New Smyrna beach for Thanksgiving. If I lived in the area, I'd love to work at Ron Jon's 😂

New Smyrna Beach is a great town to live in. You definitely learn how to deal with the influx of snow birds and how to get around. Also the special events months. It is definitely a great place to live year round with so much to do and see.

The reason trains stop and backup is because there are several reasons, this could be happening first of all Canal st is on the north end of a rail yard which consists of rail activity including setting cars out, picking cars up, setting out locomotives etc. So they do know what they are doing. They are an intricate part in the movement of commerce. My suggestion is if you want to avoid possibly being stopped by the train then l would recommend using the overpass just to the south that is why it was constructed.

I disagree, I like the Trains. Gives me time to stop for a smoke

Hey guys! New subscriber :-) I’m seriously considering New Smyrna. Im an apartment dweller with 2 kitties. Work from home and make $90-$110/yr. I’d love to find a place in a walkable area close to a coffeehouse, grocery store, and park with trails. Is this possible??

well...if you live on the island like my grandma does yeah, especially during the weekends when all the tourists go to drive on the beach...but we're just a walk away off flagler so its never been a problem. probably wouldn't live on the island if I moved there but it would be fun as hell. I've always loved that place...

The trains are most likely droping a car at a factory then back up to hook up to the rest of the cars and keep moving to the next stop. I ass u me lol
I'm looking for a place to stay in the winters. Is Glencoe a good place for that? I'm looking for a place with a down town and stuff to do but not a major city. The prices on that Glencoe area seem good enough that it might be worth buying instead of renting while rates are still low.
