Thanks for the travel tips! As someone who visits NYC pretty much every year, I had no idea about the $13 train to Newark! I will be keeping this in mind.

The Curly Closet nj transit, they run every 15 min or so

there is also a shuttle from grand central that takes you to Newark ( also JFK and Laguardia) if you want to skip NJ transit and air train hassle ... this shuttle drops you right at the departure gate .. price is $17 i believe.

The entrance door to the castle is lower and cramped, is not because people were shorter. It’s design is to prevent an ambush! making it harder to maneuver and preventing from running through having to hunch, making it only accessible for one person at a time.

Erik, don't take the subway or drive to JFK. The best and quickest way to get to JFK is to get to Penn Station, go downstairs, and then take the Long Island Railroad to Jamaica station. It's only three stops from Penn Station, and it's a twenty-five minute ride at most. It's not as cheap as taking the subway, but at $15 it's definitely cheaper than taking a cab/Uber/Lyft to JFK from midtown.

+French Vanilla when you get off at Jamaica Station, you have to catch the AirTrain to take you from Jamaica Station to JFK proper. The AirTrain goes to each of the Terminals in the airport. Travel to and from JFK via AirTrain is $5 as you enter or exit the system. You pay the fare with Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard at either the Sutphin Boulevard or Howard Beach station. In fact, when you're buying your LIRR ticket at Penn Station, there's an option to buy just the LIRR ticket or the ticket and a MetroCard. You use the LIRR ticket to get you to Jamaica Station, and then you use the MetroCard to get you on the AirTrain. The signage is very clear and if you still aren't sure of where to go, there's always uniformed JFK people who will direct you. It's very easy!

Yes, Prague is beautiful, i live in czech too, but in Brno. But if you want to see history in the middle of amazing and breathtaking nature you should have trip to Slovakia.

Cab fares are regulated to/from all airports. Kennedy was $55 to mid-town. Kennedy is also the farthest (not Newark) and has a toll.

It's cheaper to get to LaGuardia. The E subway to Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Av and right outside the station the Q70 bus :)
