How clue works is by the players moving around the board to different rooms. When a player gets to the room they are in they make a “rumor” stating a different player with a weapon. Then each player from the left of the person saying the rumor says if they have one of those cards. If they have that card it means they are wrong and have to find the right combination from process of elimination. Mostly by noticing which characters ask the same questions or the same weapons with different rooms.

Be prepared, nerds, this is gonna be a long-ass comment to explain the earliest they SHOULD have figured some parts of the solution out, if they had managed to pick up on every single clue (there's a lot to go through, and editing makes it a bit difficult). First up, everyone learns that Flitz has the Present. (Joven could argue with this one, but... well... he's Joven.); Then, Joven learns that Mari has the Cemetery. Now Wes comes around and, with a table of negative responses, everyone should realise that nobody has the WREATH and thus, it's the correct weapon. Wes also learns that nobody has Sally and that she's the murderer. During Flitz's turn everyone learns that Wes has Oogie Boogie. Damien learns that Boze has the Workshop. Mari and Boze learn that Damien has the Woods, later Damien sees one of Mary's cards (probably Oogie's Lair, because of the rumors he'll spread later) Joven is dumb enough to ask for the present (sorry buddy), but in doing so, everyone at the table also learns that Wes doesn't have SALLY, which means that she's the murderer. They can also assume that, since Wes didn't immediately reach for the centre of the board for a proper accusation, he has the Halloween Town Hall and rule that out of the picture. Now at this point, I was expecting a very short game mostly based on trying to find the right location and technically, Damien had the biggest advantage, with the possibility of knowing up to four locations, followed by Mari and Boze at three, while Flitz, Wes and Joven are all at two. From now on, I'm only gonna write down when people find out about locations since everything else becomes secondary (I did a longer, more in-depth analysis but nobody wants to see that). After what should've been the turning point, Wes learns that Boze has the Workshop. This should also be known to everyone because of Wes' reveal of Oogie Boogie and choosing the wreath alongside it. So it's the only possible card that she could've revealed. Flitz learns that Boze has Jack's House. Mari learns that Wes has Santa's House. Flitz sees that Boze has the Workshop. Boze learns that Flitz has the Laboratory. Boze accuses on who knows what bases (I'd very much like to see her mind at work, she confused the fuck out of me), but the cards mentioned by her don't help anyone in any way (it tells that she doesn't have them, but with weapon and killer technically already known and with how everyone should assume that Wes has the town hall, it doesn't make a different) still, outta the game she goes! Back to location-hunting, Joven actually sees that Wes has the Town Hall (99% chance, since he hadn't won already to 100% that he has it, now). Now this is edited in a way where you can't really see (they cut the card-giving part, if I remember correctly), but based on the cards revealed later, I managed to put together that Wes learns that Mari had Oogie's Lair. Flitz learns that Mari has the Cemetery. Mari asks for the Wreath (known to be the weapon by everyone) Jack and Jack's House, which Flitz had previously asked for. Now, since two different people (Joven and Boze) gave a card to someone, at this point everyone should learn that one of them (Boze, btw) has Jack's House, while the other has Jack. So everyone can rule out Jack's house. Because of Damien's choice to place the location with the known weapond and murderer, everyone learns that Mari has the Cemetery. Wes sees that Boze has Jack's House and later, so does Mari. Wes learns that Flitz has the Laboratory. Flitz learns that Wes has Santa's House. As Damien's cards are shown, Wes knows that the right location is the Woods. Mari should've also known this -and the murderer-, but didn't pick up on some stuff that happened previously. So yeah, pretty much everyone besides Wes wasted a lot of turns looking for characters, and at times objects. ... Well, I guess this is why my friends won't play Clue with me anymore.

No problem! I love clue and board games in general and I end up being super competitive, so to be honest watching them play was almost frustrating after a while? I mean, I still enjoyed it and they made me laugh, but I spent 50% of the video screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT?" and similar at the screen.

Story time: When I was little, I decided that I was gonna watch Nightmare Before Christmas because I had never seen it and all of my friends loved it. My mom tried to warn me but I was convinced that I was a “big girl” and could handle it. It SCARRED ME FOR LIFE!!!
