I basically grew up in Oceanside, it has change from 90s-90s Old Surf/Skater, Prostitutes and Gang Land to Upscale Orange County Preppy Starbucks snobs. I really miss the original Oceanside Swamp Meet, Hip Hop Record Stores and just the cheap affordable living in the 90s. Now, its almost impossible to get a place by the beach, sure crime is gone down to nothing, much safer but still miss the Old Oceanside

Costs in Oceanside have gone up significantly.

Lol I’m watching your Texas videos contemplating a move to Waxachachie! And then you post a Oceanside video where I live lol

LOL. I love California. Major reason we've helped 100s of people move to Texas from Cali is because Texas offers a much better cost of living.

@@viprealtycali have you helped people from Oceanside or San Diego county move to DFW area? And if so have any of them moved back to San Diego and why ? I’m born and raised Oceanside this is all I know but it’s to exspensive but I have all my family here. But I rather go where I can thrive. And just come back to Oceanside to play!

@@mando2.049 we've helped numerous people move from San Diego area. To my knowledge there still in Texas. I've read other blog posts where some people moved back to California. However, I think that's the minority. Most people move to Texas for 1. Cost of living 2. Politics and those people typically don't change their mind.

As far as the crime rate. It is true, however, it is still very active with gang activity between state & san diego, especially at that park next to those streets. I was assaulted there for no reason and there was a shooting last month. So I wouldn't say 100% that things are like Encinitas/Carlsbad yet. I'll give it another 5-10 and those a-hole gangs will be in Vista.
