Thank you for this very interesting video! I very much enjoy all your videos, you are so inspiring. Eating in France indeed is very social, it's a ritual for which we like to take time and sit down. Even if we eat alone, we wouldn't think of having a quick bite in the street. It's a moment we want to enjoy, and many of us like cooking with seasonal products. I absolutely love to buy my groceries on French markets, there is such an amazing variety of fruit and vegetables, cheeses, fish and sea food, etc, and the whole atmosphere is so lively. When I am in Dinard, in Brittany, for instance, I never miss having fresh oysters with a glass of Bordeaux on the market, what an experience, not only for your taste buds but also for your eyes and ears! Even though I now live abroad, I maintained the eating habits I was raised with in France, because this makes me feel so good: eat in reasonable quantities, put variety and colours in your plate, avoid processed food and enjoy a good glass of wine from time to time! Bon appétit! 😄

Interesting to learn about French culture. Almost impossible to translate where I’m from here in Texas. But, then we have our culture- which is not inferior, just different.

so true...I love Texas...though it's a big state with many subcultures, right? There is a huge francophile group in Texas, I always meet several if go on any tours or events in Paris.

I very much enjoy your channel and am always glad when I see a new episode released. I always wonder, though, about the light reflection on your glasses that occurs in most of the videos. It is very distracting and often hides your eyes completely. Is there not a way to prevent the reflection? Please know I do not say this critically, by any means. Thank you.

you are right!! I need to try to find glasses that have no glare. Very irritating!!

Oh, I think it could be resolved much easier and in a less expensive manner. I love your glasses! Maybe, it’s just the light source (close the blinds), turn off a lamp. angle your body differently, change to another room, etc. I just finished watching the book review and enjoyed it. Have a great day. 😊

I really enjoyed this. I wish Americans would dress up more.....and when they go out to eat. We eat 2 meals a day and enjoy a lot of fresh ingredients. We also garden and enjoy food right from the garden which is organic. I wish I could find someone to enjoy a meal instead of always rushing....Rushing seems to be an American attitude.
