Mexicans are very similar to Poles !!! And religion is one aspect of that but not the only or primary one... Only an ignorant can say that religion is that specific and only point of connection between Mexicans and Poles. I'VE been living for 15 years in MEXICAN neighborhood in Chicago USA. I'M Polish....and l Love living here with them. I wasn't looking for similarities whatsoever when I moved here but with time I've learned that they are like us Poles ... like brothers from another mother. They are tough...tough cookies , love their tradition .... food and dance. Hard workers very honest and loyal when you give them genuine respect . What I love the most is their cultivation of very simple genuine folkloric culture and being able to accept someone who is completely different but honest and genuine. Religion is a strong connection but not first or the only. Sometimes I think our ancestors have met in the ancient past.. Oh!!! one more think Mexicans have this "abstract", "surrealistic" sense of humor like us Poles.....that Anglo-Saxons don't get or find weird. All the best for you in Poland David . Viva Mexico!!! Poland is 3rd bigest Apple producer in tje world and Polish developed agroculture can feed 1/4 of Europe. The most demanding customers in the world are buying almost 25% of Polish export. Poland has second fastest growing economy in Europe. Polish GDP overtook GDP of Finland, Portugal, Sweden, Greace, Belgium, soon we will overtook Spain and close distance to Italy. Poland mad ethe best computer game ever made „Witcher III” with 30 milion copies sold. Poland has he bigest % of house holders in Europe...and tallest sky scraper in European Union since few months. Mexico is shithole in comparison with Poland and it is souch haven on aearth that half of Mexican population want to go to the USA and live there. Esta es sin madness, so ne soy mad. Eeeeee, it`s interesting to be "Latin" (is that "from Latium"?) in Poland. I guess it can be compared to many other similar cultural "hibridations", when you live in another country you may become at least 33% like them, if not 66% (in my case, no, I`ve never been to Poland). So, doing a little math... a cultural admixture between Poland and a "Latin" man/woman is like an admixture between a Christiasnized Turk (considering that the Turks see Italians as sso "Christian Turks" (tehere was a nice joke on google, "How Turkey sees the world/Europe), and a Russian. That makes Latin expats in (western or eastern) Slavic countries (or the other way round) become similar to Russian Kazakhs or Romanians (themselves a mixture of Slavs, Turks and Byzanthines, that is some kind of Christianized Turkic Slavs). Now, Turks are also slightly Mongolic so they could be considered to be sso Asianized (non-Christian) Italians, which could brings us to... sso Hispanics!!! What about Slavs + Turks/Arabs... Slav+Turks/Arabs = Slav+Asianized Italians = Slav+Hispanics= Romanian/Serb (southern Slavs, with a lot a=of admixtures)? Hahahaha! And if Slavs are actually a cultural mixture of Germans/Nordics and Latin, this means Slav+Latin = German/Nordic+Latin+Latin = German/Nordic+2xLatin = German+2xChristianized Turk/Arab = 1/3 German + 2/3 Christianized Hispanic. So, Slavs are 1/2 to 2/3 Hispanic ar heart!
