Living In Seguin Texas

What and where is Seguin Texas? In this video I talk about this town a few miles south of New Braunfels. Learn about fun things to do there! If you're considering visiting or moving to the area, Seguin definitely has a few things you're going to want to consider! I talk about its rich Texas history, economic situation, landmarks and a few other tidbits with the beautiful pecan trees in Max Starcke Park as my backdrop. Check it out!

You should do an update, Walnut Springs is a small creek that has been updated around the new library, that leads to the park, there has been monuments of large squirrels put all around town, ross and marshells just opened so we no longer need to travel to san antonio to go school shopping. Maybe come one day were the downtown water fountain is once a month there are trade shows so vendors are there selling their talents. ZDTs was just featured on an HBO film with Emily Olsen. On hwy 46 there has been so much housing being built the traffic is so hectic instead of getting to new Braunfels in 15 min now takes 30.

There are no jobs there but you can easily drive to San Antonio and work right? How many minutes away is San Antonio and Seguin?

Vitesco Technologies, and it's parent, Continental Automotive Systems! There is also Texas State University to attend or work at. A short commute to New Braunfels and there are an abundance of opportunities.

Starke pronounced StarKey. Most of the growth around Seguin now days is to the north of I10 off 46 or 123. Seguin has the essentials for everyday life and traffic is not anywhere near the level of New Braunfels. There are many industrial jobs to be had with more on the way.

Seguin is nothing like New Braunfels. Dining is non-existent and both Whataburgers and McDs have long lines EVERY day and night. And neither are any good.

@@liveinnewbraunfels2015 Since I've lived around Central TX nearly all my life I very rarely venture out to any "new" places to eat because I like to patronize the old places that have been in business for multiple decades. The "newest" place I have eaten in NB was actually when Coopers BBQ first opened in 2009 or so and that was only because I had been going to Llano since the mid 60s. Ha. Best food I have had in Seguin was literally at Taco Cabana although my son once ate the grill on the at he SE corner I-10 and 46? I believe and he said they had pretty good CFS. Last place I visited in NB where I hadnt been since I was a kid in the 60s was Nagaelins Bakery. Still really good although I cant take that much sugar in one bite. WOW.
