I believe the increase in availability of low cost alternative to porcelain and ceramics led to the decline in the pottery industry in stoke-on-Trent which in turn has caused less job opportunities over the years and caused more people to leave the city. I have only been here for about a year so I really can’t say much. Thanks for watching.
