I remember when Ruston was a, Smokestack, some Railroad Tracks, and a Tunnel. Was a cool place back in the day.

Ruston is absolutely gorgeous!! My buddy lives at Copperline and I stayed with him when I was in town for work. Never have I imagined that I’d love Washington and miss that place so much!

Anywhere on that waterfront is incredible…Copperline is smack dab in the middle of it. Your buddy is certainly lucky to get to enjoy it daily.

I grew up in Gig Harbor on the Narrows. My parent's place was tested for arsenic. In the 70's you could not grow veggies in the soil. That smelter worked with the dirtiest metals. So the views are wonderful but how healthy
@bluerootproperties94093 жыл бұрын
It is rather sad…that copper smelt did a lot of damage for so many years. However, some good news, Tacoma received nearly 1 billon dollars from the company responsible. They invested those funds to clean up the area, conduct private residence testing, even soil removal and replacement for free. I can remember when Ruston way was industrial. We used party down there. The cops would just drive on by. I was born and raised in Puyallup. All that area was our stomping grounds. Weird seeing parts of Tacoma being gentrified. Sad really.
