I'm humbled everytime I watch these videos, it reminds me to be grateful and not complain alhamduillah. These are amazing strong people, alhamduillah these families have livestock and homes they are able to heat and eat in, I just saw a news report on a family struggling in Afghanistan because the temperatures have plummeted so low they can't can't heat their homes and eat, they are trying to stay huddled waiting for the cold weather to pass and leave. May Allah grant warmth , fill the bellies and quench the thirst of those who need it ameen

It’s so nice and kind of you to want to help but based on my knowledge of Afghanistan as I am also an Afghan, it’s not that these people can not afford better shoes; it’s just the culture in these villages and it’s normal there to wear such shoes if not going to far distances. And it would be pretty much a misconception to think of these people as poor because they are not part of our capitalist world and in their own system, they may not be poor.

I don't think Switzerland has any of this so arid, brown mountains, Switzerland is all forests. Landscape is very different, also I don't think they would set up an entire Afghan style village in Switzerland, and surely Swiss architecture looks nothing like that.
