He faked it! You cannot connect to Wi-Fi using NFC with iPhone. You can do it with android, there are many nfc apps where you can do this. On iPhone, you need to have one of those apps to scan the tag and find the password that you have to type it in yourself. However you can use a QR code to automatically connect to Wi-Fi on iPhone.

I think an elderly person or a disabled person would really benefit from this kind of set up. It would be great if technology could give assistance to those with mobility issues. I myself have a lot of smart home items, especially HomeKit stuff, but I keep it to those I deem necessary.

As far as I know, Tap to connect wifi doesn’t work anymore on iPhone since 2021. Apple disabled its background nfc reading. (It still works with android tho). Could you give me step-by-step how you enabled that as in your video? 😅

I loved it so much. When I was a kid I was thinking that I’m the biggest fan of Steve Jobs and back then I read every single article and autobiography from Isaacson. I was even following the patents Apple were registering. I was that much big fan of Apple, so I watched Wall-E about 150 times and then I found out that iPhone’s designer draw the Wall-E (Jhony Ive). It was so sad for that nobody around can talk with me about this. I enjoyed so much watching this video, cause it makes me feel so proud that people like this exist. I have had iPhones since 3GS and I sold them all, sadly.

You could add a location routine, Home / Leave / Work for lights and or smart home devices. Use screen recording for recording mobile devices or tablet how-tos.
